Road Trip Part 2

Here are some more pictures on the drive from WI to AK. These were from my friends camera along the way.  If you have any questions about to photos or the drive please don't hesitate to contact me. I will be posting very soon about everything I've been doing up here.

Thank you again for everyone who helped me get out here! It has been the best experience of my life thus far. The Alaska Hwy drive was beautiful, I am beyond grateful for the opportunity I've been given and for the chance to move out here.  I am also extremely thankful that I made the almost 5,000 mile without any car trouble! This drive was also done without a GPS just good old fashion paper maps :)  Love you all and Thank you once again!

Arrived Safely in Alaska!

4,757 miles, 7 days of driving 8 days on the road but made it safe to Willow, AK!!

It was a long, stressful yet beautiful drive full of adventure! We saw black bear, grizzly bear, fox, porcupine, bison, deer, moose, and lot of rabbits.  The road was horrible in some parts and we had rain every day of the drive.  The beauty of the drive made up for all the pot holes and dips and gravel we had to slow down for.

Here are some pictures of the drive, we tried to make the most out of everything we could while keeping good timing with 4 dogs!

Sorry these are not all in order. I do not have quality internet right now so I just wanted to get them all up and posted for you :) I will have more coming from Ibo my friend who drove with me.  Also pictures taken while driving were done so by the passenger :)

Had the dogs all set up nicely with their own fan.

So I am fully convinced people can't read in Canada... but it is definitely more likely they have a lot of out of country people travel through.  All their sings were pictures, no words= more confusing than it should be. ^^^ means bumps I though it meant groves till we hit the bump haha

Captivating drive

The hills in Canada = 6-10% grades.... weeeeeeeee

Had to make a short stop and get out of the van in Canada

:)

Again not sure why they had a giant beaver coming into town, but it made me laugh.

Information center in Dawson Creek, Mile 0 of Alaska Hwy. They had this map so you could put a pin in where you are from. Ibo was the only one from Turkey and I was the 3rd from WI only from Milwaukee area!

Get the Milepost if you drive the Alaska Hwy... it warns you about the lack of shoulders and the likelihood of rocks falling into the road....

Historical mile post.

We also saw black bear and moose and more bison.... this was the only one we pulled over to get a picture of haha

My main man Chase :)

Brutus would stare out the window for hours...

Never needed our extra gas so we used it to make it the rest of the way through Canada before filling up

Oh and watch out for random stop lights on the hwy haha
